That's weird. I don't understand ... the printer operates on my system as I wrote up. What version of the driver software are you using? And are you still on Mac OS X v10.3.9 or have you moved to v10.4.8 yet?
The "presentation matte" paper is just another rename of Epson Enhanced Matte, aka Epson Archival Matte. I wish they'd stop mucking about with the names!
