I'm in southeast Michigan, just down the road from steady Eddie. Thanks for the offer, but I've been there, done that & have numerous T-shirts to prove it. Started wrenching on a 1968 "A" sedan in SCCA regional's. Moved on to the Trans Am with the same Mustang & later a 69 Mustang thru the early seventies. What a time to be in that series with Donohue, P.J., Revson, Follmer etal. Eventually got into a 72 Pinto in "B" sedan as a driver, got my regional license & a new son which ended my driving aspirations (money & time). That Pinto eventually went on the run in the Trans Am under 2.0L category and some IMSA RS races for several years. Stayed involved as a crew member & in the mid 90's hooked up with a fellow worker on an early Toyota Corolla he was campaigning in Cen Div Nationals in GT 4. We placed high several times in the Runoffs (the last one run @ Road Atlanta & eventually won the National GT 4 title (late 90's) @ Mid Ohio.
Nowadays I fuel the racing fires by watching whatever I can catch on Speed & driving My Boxster S.
