Bugger. The only way to get it apart will be to gently knock out that pin. Doable but if your not careful that plastic could crack and it would be useless.
If this could end up being something that you might have to take apart often for cleaning, I'd think about replacing that press fit pin with a 316 stainless steel bolt & nyloc nut.
