I'm tranfering a couple shot right now so I can tell you a bit more precisely about the file sizes. I shot PEF of course and got: Smallest file: 9003 KB (so a bit less than 9 MB) Biggest file: 13709 KB (13.3 MB)
Even considering only the worst cas (13.3 MB) you have a free 3 MB. In best case you get free 7 MB. It will vary much depending on your shooting habits / subjects. Lots of black background is easy to compress unless it is noisy. Lots of little detailed stuff will not compress well. I will try to fill cards with DNG/PEF to get an idea but even that does depend on the subjet as it influences PEF size quite a bit.
