Hi Glen, right. Never had any trouble with the ones I've had. I still have 
two in fine working condition. IMHO the build is far better than an ME Super, 
but should be as it was far more expensive in it's day. I've never had one 
where the shutter didn't cock on the first stroke of the lever, a common 
fault on heavily used/abused ME Supers. 

FYI there were two variants of the Super Program AFAIK, however mine are UK 
Super A's. First models 1983 the mode dial locks on auto, second models 1985 
the dial also locks on manual setting. There may have been some other 
revisions. It would be interesting to know if the Super Program is the same, 
anyone advise?

This is probably irrevelavent but I've come across a few non-working 1983 
models, but never a 1985 model!
