Lots of ways ;-)
One of my favorites is software called "BW Plus" that does B&W 
conversions simulating the use of color filters with black & white 
film. What's more it's FREE.

And I'm pretty sure it's on your laptop already. In Photoshop, with any 
image open, go to the Filters menu and there should be an item labeled 
"Fotomatic". When you put the mouse pointer on it you should get one or 
more options appearing to the right, one of which should be "BW-Plus".

If it's not there, let me know and I'll show you how to download & 
install it. Like I said, it's freeware.
