Honest question:
Does Pentax announce it when they cease production of any item, no matter what?
Seems to me I recall so many messages simply saying that some given item 
couldn't be located anymore, in spite of a search of suppliers/distributors.
So, after a while, people finally get the point...

Does anyone know if the company has a policy on that, one way or another?
