Stylistically it calls to mind the oeuvre of the enigmatic existential French poet, actor and film director Eric Cantona, who once said "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown in to the sea". He also said "I am searching for abstract ways of expressing reality, abstract forms that will enlighten my own mystery".
