Thanks for that Mark. I'm a "Picture must accompany text" person, and your set up photo really helps.
I know i have a set of manual extension tubes here and some were i have bellows, and a 360 flash. Cables are in a box some were, and i have a Pentax M42 to K mount adaptor and a 50mm.. I still have some time on my hands, so maybe i'll try this out. Do you leave the side lights on when you shoot, or switch them off for the shot. What bulbs do you find work best, if they are left on.
