I disagree. That guitar will not sound better than most $300 dreadnoughts. You're paying extra for the Martin name on the headstock. At that price you should at least get a ebony fretboard vs. the rosewood.
There's more value spending the 500 dollars somewhere else. In my opinion, a Martin won't sound better than anything else until your spending in the $2K range.
