Have you tried Craigs List?

On a recent Southwest Air trip, we lined up next to a guy returning
from an musical visit to Chicago.  He was carrying a guitar and swore
by Craigs List as a great source.  (He also used it to rent a condo
for 3 days in Chicago at below hotel room rates.)
