Hi Bob, The bellows has no electrical contacts so the camera sees it as a K or M lens. As such it won't work P-TTL for flash. If you modify the A extension tube the camera sees the bellows as an A lens and P-TTL works.
The modification involves removing a couple of the pins and swapping one contact to another position.
