I completely agree, Bill. Stephen is a great person to deal with. Now, if only he'd update the look of his site :)
Bob, I think the two lenses are quite different so it is difficult to compare. The 58 focuses slightly more closely than normal, but I wouldn't consider it a macro. The mag is very useful for portraits though. Very useful speed. The 125 is sharp as anything I've used. Built like a Sherman. My only niggle is the focus ring is set rather back on the lens barrel. With the weight of the glass, it feels a little unbalanced to me. But otherwise, it is a fine piece of engineering. Bokeh on both are luscious.
