FYI: While voting a few minutes ago, I noted an image that claimed to
have been shot with a DA 55-300 f/4-5.8 ED. Last roadmap I saw it was
in the "To Be Released" category.
Couldn't make any sort of judgment about its performance based on one
"fairly decent" image. This lens is competing with the DA*60~250, from
a standpoint of price, in my mind, if only to justify the additional $$
for the DA*.
