DA* 60-250 is SDM lense, DA 55-300 isnt, but if its same picture quality as DA 50-200mm f4-5.6 makes - it's all good.

This lens is competing with the DA*60~250, from a standpoint of price, in my mind, if only to justify the additional $$ for the DA*.
