For the Pentax 645D I assume the price tag would have been similar for a similar imaging chip. $10K is pretty steep in its own right, and I find it interesting that Mamiya/PhaseOne can pull it off in the marketplace.
Would I pay $10K for a Pentax MedF-D? Given that I have some very nice lenses for it, I'd probably start saving at once.
