It sounds like you need either a) a converter from the normal 4-pin power connector for a PATA hard drive to the smaller connector for an SATA drive or b) a new power supply that has the connectors already there The converter is much cheaper and should be available at your local computer store. There should be two cables going to the drive, and they look a lot alike except the connectors are a little different.
