Well at least your drives work Tim.

I ordered 2 1TB drives on line & tried to install them a couple of
weekends ago. No go.

They both ticked like a grandfather clock & somehow managed to crash
the disk set up. I couldn't even boot the computer with them
installed.

I also tried them in my NAS device & one drive refused to initialise &
the other seemed to get stuck in an initialisation loop.

Upon removing them I had a good close look:

Hopefully the replacements that the place I bought them from will be
better packed!
