That should be the resolution for a single panel.  If it can drive 
multiple panels, it should be able to drive each at that maximum resolution.

Nope.  The SLI (Scalable Link Interface) is for when you have lots of 
complex rendering going on, as in a game.  I would not expect it to help 
at all for regular (non-3D) displays.  It might help AutoCAD or 
something, but it's not going to do Photoshop any good.
