This is exactly my take on the issue. And I frequently vote "yes" on superb images that I *know* aren't going to make the final cut. Things like Frank's shots which are artistically superb but won't make anyone say "Wow! Where can I get the camera/lens that made THAT shot?!" Sometimes I find myself thinking "this is a brilliant shot and even though it isn't what the Gallery wants to promote camera sales I'm gonna vote YES and try to make *them* reject it!"
