Sounds like a good plan. I just gave way most of my 35 stuff and my
645 to the art dept. since they still use Pentax stuff. I still have the
K10D and the DS, of course, but I could be seduced by a simple and
straightforward kit. Unfortunately, just as I'm reaching that point in
my life when I might actually be able to afford a Leica it just doesn't
seem like a good use of my money.

Har!

I'm keeping my R-D1 and three lenses (15/4, 28/1.9, 50/1.5) and of
course we have a 'house' *ist Ds which is supposed to be my wife's but
my son uses it a lot.

My plan is to just use that for a while, maybe a year or two. Then,
I'll
get a 36X24 sensor DSLR - either a used Canon 1Ds (mark II or III)
***or*** heaven forbid a full-frame Pentax DSLR (after I've eaten my
hat
of course).

Why? Because I wnat to be able to use my 15/3.5 and A*85/1.4 lenses
with
the angle of view that they were intended to be....
