Good news on both counts. I've been hoping that they'd focus on the
APS-C technology, rather than aiming for a market in which they'd
never be competitive. Furthermore, sticking with APS-C is the best
way to support those of us who've invested heavily in their new
lenses and cameras.

The gist - 645 is not dead, just suspended. Pentax is aiming to
produce FF quality from a APS-C sized sensor, perhaps already in
the spring.
