Apparently with early voting, only a few poling places are open as opposed
to many during the normal voting on
Tuesday. Why would you anyone vote early and face hours in line? You can
always get an absentee ballot if needed.

12 minutes for me @ 10:45am.
All the stories on the media about the long wait for early voting really
hyped the issue.
I think most of the long lines were for the people who waited until the
afternoon to vote. It was the same for the early voters who voted in the
last few weeks - there were lines in the afternoon, but not many in the
mornings.
I don't do early voting if I don't have to. I believe it's my
Constitutional Right to stand in line on "the Tuesday after the first
Monday in November" ... and if that makes me late to work, they'll just
have to wait 'til I get there.
Polls here opened at 6:30am. I rolled out of bed at 6:45 & made it to my
precinct by 7:00am.
There was one person in front of me, and about 2 dozen people actually in
the process of voting. I was done by 7:10am. Of course, I'd done my
homework the night before; had printed a sample ballot, circled my
selections and took it with me so I'd know what ovals to fill in when I
got my real one. I wasn't there long enough to take a picture.
But I heard there were lines later in the day, from all the people who
waited until they got off work before going to vote.
