Far too much anger here. That never solves problems. But I'll have no
more to say about it.

No. I said that "Massive contributions to its promotion were funded
by the Mormon Church and *other* fundamentalist radicals". The list
of whom is published here:

My opinion: a pile of politico-religious bigots lacking in the
tolerance for religious beliefs, personal freedom, and human rights
which are at the heart of the US Constitution and the Bill of
Rights. These people are not my friends. The Mormon Church has a
long history of doing violence against innocent gay and lesbian
people who want to live their lives.
I do not, did not propose violence against anyone. You are the one
who suggested that demonstration to must turn to violence.
By doing so, you ascribe anyone who agrees with my feelings on this
subject as "the left" and violent, positioning yourself as a
supporter right in with those on the list above. By your
intimations, the Prop 8 supporters can tell me how to live my life
and whom I can/cannot marry. And I have to honor the disrespect they
demonstrate for my civil liberties and human rights through their
suborning of the California State constitutional amendment process.
What will fail is the effort to take away my civil and human
rights ... if I am willing to pay the price to secure them. I also
know that the coin of liberty and freedom always has been, is, will
be blood. Mahatma Gandhi showed us that in the liberation of India.
It is the people who's rights are being elided who are/will be
shedding blood, and will to do so to secure liberty in the future.
I am very willing to shed my blood that others might be freed. Count
on it.
