Advertising isn't entertainment, unfortunately. I hardly watch television any more ... I rent television series I find interesting on DVD and watch them sans commercials. It's the only way to see the stories and not be interrupted with advertising bs. I also arrive 20 minutes late to movies now so as to miss the commercials that take up a third of an hour before they start showing the film I paid for. I see no reason to pay in order to let advertising reach me. G ============== Actually, I do the same thing. I rent dvds to watch favorite shows rather than reruns with lots of ads. And I won't eat in places with TVs, or I turn my back on them. The older I get, the less I want to be a consumer for things I don't want or need. Besides a lot of ads, most of them, are annoying. But then, I've always been a hard sell.
