Not sure I understand your reaction here Bob. My email is based on a news report which suggest to me that Amazon is not an employer which treats it's employees in a reasonable manner. My reaction is to say that I will never assist them to stay in business by buying from them while this is the way they do business. I don't consider this to be a 'soft' response. And what on earth does it have to do with Christmas?
