The only time I ever picked up a camera and had that reaction was with the Sony A700. It simply fits my hand perfectly (I didn't buy it though, due to lens replacement costs). The D300 is second for DSLR's. I dunno why it is but the minor body changes the D700 and A900 both have from their DX crop brethren make handling slightly worse. -- M.
