The Sigma 70-200/2.8 is starting to look like a contender, and they not
only want less for it, they are actually making it available to Pentax
users.
I have been very happy with my Sigma 70-300/4-5.6 APO. My flying bird
was shot with it. If the same quality is there in the 70-200/2.8, I'd be
tempted, except I have the 70-300.
