Ed, If you're on the mat (edge of) you won't need much zoom. Figure out how that flash works with the K100D, you must. Try starting with iso 200 speed or whatever the group suggests. Gym lighting sucks, unless it's the basketball gym. The FA50/1.4 will be most useful and the right amount of telephoto. Regards, Bob S.
