I certainly didn't say that Villeneuve was the best, even in his day.
Finishing a race for points is often preferable to going hellbent for
leather and blowing an engine or crashing (in fact I guess it's always
better...).

Villeneuve was my favourite because he's Canadian, he had a certain
panache, he enjoyed himself and loved what he did.
