Hi,
I bought used KM Scan Dual IV last year. Generally I have tried to avoid anything that has words Konica or Minolta written on it, but I'm quite happy with my scanner. Yes, it's wise to turn any "image enhancement" off (which means manual dust removal), but the raw file is fine for me. Good A3 prints are no problem and if I really need more, I have free access to 6000dpi Imacon Flextight. Recently I have used it only twice - both times for medium format slides.

BR, Margus

Quoting out of context from a common refrain at work:

"You can have it good, you can have it reasonable priced, you can have it fast: pick two out of three."

What would you all recommend for a good, reasonably priced film scanner?

I'm thinking in the $200-300 range.

Thanks.
