the da is lighter, probably a bit nicer built. i have no idea of pricing where you are, but it is a bit more expensive too. on the other hand - f1.4 vs f2.8 is a lot of difference, 2 stops. in the same lighting conditions, that would mean using iso 400 with 1.4 and iso 1600 with 2.8 to get the same exposure.
