It's a superb lens (I own the older Contax/Yashica version). But I'd skip it in Pentax mount because it simply doesn't justify the price gap over the FA 50/1.4. The Pentax lens is a superb performer and costs around half of the other 50/1.4 options cost (and a little over a third of the cost of the Zeiss). -- M.
