Godfrey is correct. I use two 540 flashes, three sets of rechargeable NIMH batteries, all freshly charged, and the Pentax power pack that takes 6 C alkaline batteries. I also bring a second set of Cs for the power pack. However, I don't use Eneloops. I believe my batteries are Everready 2300s. Eneloops hold a charge longer but yield fewer flashes in continuous use.
