Are you talking about stills shooting, or video? The point of shooting green / blue screen is that it would take forever to individually 'photoshop' each frame of a moving image where a new background is to be added. If stills, I personally can't see an advantage to shooting with a green or blue screen background, and may even be detrimental in terms of colour interference. If I was shooting stills of a subject I knew I was going to place on a different background in post-processing, I would shoot against a white, or light-coloured backdrop. If shooting video or film, you want green or blue screen (depending upon process used).
