Well, Jostein, I looked at this one last night and didn't know what to say. I knew there was something about it that just wasn't working for me, but I couldn't say what, so I decided to sleep on it and see what other people had to say when I logged on this morning. I also thought I might want to take another look (which I've done). Having done all those things, I guess the bottom line is that it's just too tight a crop for me. There's not enough for me to feel satisfied - I know sometimes that's a good thing, but in this case it's just too frustrating. I see part of a nice smile, an equally smiling eye, but those things aren't enough for me to get a feel for who this is. Unlike others I don't mind the blemishes and other "real" facial features. If this person is a teenager or youth, they're a part of his life and I don't have a problem knowing about them. To me they're like wrinkles on someone my age... I think this was a good idea but it just needs a bit more space. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
