Maybe it's the subject matter or just my eyes, but I seem to detect a bit of image degradation at the edges and corners. Not a lot different than the FA 28-200mm. I don't think I'd want to use the DA* 60-250mm on film, ( or a 24x36mm sensor if or when it becomes available on a K mount body), if critically sharp imaging was required, (not that it would actually be worthwhile on any of the Film cameras I still own)..
