yes but is it even possible to have that much in the 645
glass, they didnt make very many lenses for 645 or 6x7
and they are now selling for peanuts on the secondary market,
like 1/4 of what they used to. Secondly, who would still be sitting on
all this glass?
I think a lot of pros have already abandoned med format film
in favor of high end digital. I got rid of mine over
5 years ago in favor of LF, and that was even before I got a digital
SLR.
Medium format made sense when everything was film, it was the
only way to get higher quality than 35mm. But medium format
digital is not the only way to get higher than APS quality
digital. FF digital can get you higher IQ and for less cost, more
lenses, less size, and less weight. It does not make sense
at all to completely skip FF (24x36mm) digital for a number of
real world and very compelling reasons.

I ask the list, how many of you are sitting on a bunch of
645 or 67 lenses at this point in time? I know Im not
and glad Im not too. I sold all mine when the selling was
still good a long time ago.

A lot of things don't make sense to you.
I find it very sad in a way.

Some depends on if you are sitting on 20k-30k worth of 645 glass,
doesn't
it?
There are other advantages that a 645 digital offers over small format
cameras.
