I don't know. I've tried repeatedly over several months, from
widely varying points on the Internet landscape, with IE6, IE7,
Firefox 2.x, Firefox 3.x, Opera 8.x, Opera 9.x, and a selection of
other, more oddball, browsers, like Konqueror. IE7 gives a warning
but lets me continue. Firefox 3.x works. Everything else, I get a
screen from mac.com that says "Download Safari or Firefox or get
lost". So I do.
If I were you, I would call MS IE tech support and ask why IE is
making me.com give you that warning. Or call Apple and ask them what
circumstances would cause that message when you try to access it with
IE. It seems to me that if MobileMe (Mail, web sites, syncing with
calendering and address books), Apple's Web Gallery are all made to
work from a Windows machine using software written for Windows, it
should work with Windows browser. (and of course, it does)
All of the following are copied from among the thousands of pages
available online regarding the experience with Apples many servers as
regards Windows.
MobileMe Control Panel for Windows
PC users can now upgrade to the newest version of the MobileMe Control
Panel by downloading and installing iTunes 8.2. This upgrade improves
proxy server support and is recommended for all PC users. If you don't
already have MobileMe Control Panel installed, you can get it here.
Internet Explorer 7 is not fully supported. Internet Explorer 7 has
known compatibility issues with modern web standards that affect web
2.0 applications, such as MobileMe. You can use Internet Explorer 7,
but you will not have access to all MobileMe features and will
experience slower performance.
Using any modern browser on a Mac or Windows computer, you can upload
and manage a gallery of photo albums using the MobileMe Gallery
application at me.com.
A Gallery is a photo and movie website that you can create using
MobileMe Gallery (Mac or Windows).
Web Galleries should display properly when viewed in Safari, FireFox,
Netscape, Mozilla, or Internet Explorer for Windows.

And, to repeat: Internet Explorer 7 has known compatibility issues
with modern web standards ! ! !
