Well, it might be a bit specialized for some people, but not for me. I think I've mentioned before that it seems to me that most of the vocal folks on this list spend most of their photographic lives on the wide angle end of the focal length spectrum, while I spend most of mine on the telephoto end. For me, the 60-250 would be perfect probably 80% of the time. With the 50-135 I'd often be looking for more reach. Hell, even the 60-250 doesn't have as much reach as I'd like, so the 300 and 400 fixed lenses wouldn't be going anywhere if I added the 60-250. And, unless it's stellar, neither would the FA* 200/2.8, which /is/ stellar.
