I do have some Sony things. A 14" TV that visitors laugh at because it is
old and apparently very out-dated - it's a 1996 model if I remember
correctly. I also have a stereo system which includes a cassette deck and an
MD player, but it also has a CD player, which is quite convenient. Young
people find it very amusing, just as I did when I stayed with a great aunt
who still played 78s on a wind-up gramophone with a horn.

I have a non-Sony digital radio-cum-MP3 player as well, which is probably
the most modern amusement device in the house, but the MP3 player can only
fit an album-and-a-half into its memory, so it's really not all that useful
considering I bought it for long train journeys.

Somewhere towards the bottom of my priority list for discretionary spending
is 'get a better TV and stuff'.
