The Epson premium papers when printed with pigment inks are said to be
archival and should last for a century of more. I doubt that any
finish will last as long as the ink and paper will on their own. As
Ann suggests, matting and framing is probably the best protection.

that sounds like a bad idea... how about a mat and glass? I mean,
wouldn't all those things make for bad chemical reactions???
