I've got Elements 5, Photoshop 2, and LR 2. My church is doing a web site and some of the photos they are using are simply too small. I volunteered to upscale them (trouble is, the example I showed, I didn't play with the sharpness enough before showing and they are somewhat dubious.)
Basically they seem to be about 200-230 pixels and just upping them to 300 pixels makes them much more viewable. About 10 of them. Now, is there some editing software or plug-in that will resize better than the above do by default? (One with a demo maybe, I really don't want to buy anything just for this one thing.) I figured on just resizing in Elements and then using UnSharpen Mask. Any input for settings for unsharpen mask, or what you would do instead, software, or whatever, is appreciated. I figure, regardless of what I do, some sharpness will be lost. On the other hand, some of the pictures aren't all that sharp to begin with.
