Bong,
1.  Yes, but I still like the *ist DS smaller size.
2.  Agreed, quiet and silky is an appropriate description.
3.  Seems faster.  (Set for lo speed multi exp's vs hi before)

4.  Write speed is as good or better than the K20.  I don't remember vs the K10.
It could be the larger image files.

5.  I haven't noticed any changes with SR but will examine the issue.
The main thing is no more of the awful shake noise at start up (dust removal).
I'm sure the K20 will shake itself apart.
