Boy, John that makes a lot of sense... - goes along with my father's
being the District sales mgr for _Dictaphone_..
and actually used a dictaphone in his car.
(you saw the rest of the gallery earlier, right?) not to mention when
we got a new car it was Studabaker...
the irony of the name "Dictator" at that particular point in history is
kinda creepy, actually.
In 1937, certain people hadn't yet made it into a swear word.
And it goes with the other Studebaker model lines from the period;
President, Commander, Director ...
