if the FA is improved over the F, but the F is bringing in more money, their must some strong collector demand combined with a lack of supply of the F version because like I said, the F version is worth more than the FA version on ebay. What about build quality? Same?

I'm curious now :-) It's not that, it's simply that we all have JCO filtered out. The difference between the F50/1.4 and the FA50/1.4 are some minor points of styling, an improved, rubberized focusing ring, and the FA50 embedded chip has the MTF curve information in it, the F50/1.4 does not. Optically and mechanically they are otherwise identical. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
