If I learned anything from all my years in computer systems, it's to test, test, test before committing a production system to any new hardware or software.
I'm testing 10.6 now on a bootable external drive that starts up my partner's MacBook ... My working systems are still PowerPC based so 10.6 is not relevant to them. But when I upgrade my hardware, I'll be ready and all the software will work as I expect. Never upgrade without testing first.
