You wouldn't say perfect or highest possible fideility is overrated if you heard some of the worlds greatest recordings in all their glory. Music and Musical Intruments have incredibly beautiful sound, most sound systems are not even close to that beauty or even quasi-realistic sound. I suggest you go hear the finest recordings on the finest audio system you can find and get back to me about it being overrated. The sound of the of music matters. Its not everything, I'd take great music with bad sound over bad music with good sound but when the music and the sound is great, then your at another whole level, a much higher level, of emotion. -- J.C.
