it does if the music and recording is truly sublime quality, when that is lost you never even know what you missed, let alone enjoy it just as much. Music isnt just about words and beats and melodies, its about SOUNDS, sounds of instruments and sounds can be beautiful, when the sound aint right, you ARE not fully enjoying what is there for the enjoyment, no matter how many times you say you are, you cant enjoy what you cant hear.
