Cheers,

Want to give them my story? Briefly, a couple of weeks ago I was photographing a metal frog sculpture in a neighborhood playground a few blocks from a store I like to shop at in Long Island City ... the light was nice, there were no kids anywhere near me, and only a couple in the distance. I was approached not by an adult parent nor an officer(none anywhere near but a boy I estimate to have been about 12 years old at the most who asked me why I was taking pictures in a polite but slightly accusatory tone. In my most reassuring voice, I smiled and pointed to the frog and said I thought it was cute or pretty or something and that I was a photographer, etc. Then I took another shot so he would see I wasn't pointing my camera at the kids who were far away. Scary in a different way than yours, but still...
